Writer Down…I Repeat Writer Down

Writer down people!

I don’t know how I did it but I have displaced a top rib which in turn has made the shoulder blade on that side to be displaced as well.

Im in constant pain and it feels like I need someone to pop my arm back into place but its not that simple.

The major downside is I think I’ve got a pinched nerve because whenever I try to do anything I loose feeling in my fingertips.

So as you can imagine its become hard to type. Hence the missing blog post on Wednesday and today.

Musings from a Curvy Romance Writer will be back as soon as I get this figured out.

Wish me luck, say a prayer and send positive thoughts my way!

BTW – I welcome any and all suggestions you guys might have to treating this crazy rib, shoulder and arm thing.

I do hope you feel better soon! Ice and rest and seeing the doctor ASAP are my only suggestions. That and see if you can get a trial of Dragon Dictation so you can still “write” in the meantime! Wishing and praying for a speedy healing!

I’ve had my eye on Dragon Dictation. Have you used it?

Rest, sleep and heal yourself. Greetings from another, broken but quite optimistic and emphatic rib. These things happen, you know… Hard to understand how I have managed to break a rib while typing, but hey, stranger things have happened in the world…!

Thank you Noa! I wonder if I did this by stretching the wrong way. My chair and posture isn’t the best and I’ve been stretching out my back, neck and shoulders more.

Your body knows what it needs. Maybe there is a new chair that has your name on it somewhere and you need to find it. Good chair is writer’s best friend. And stretching. Have a great, inspirational weekend.

No suggestions except rest and alternating ice and heat. Take care of yourself, girl! How am I going to get better at this writing gig without you? 🙂
