#ImEnough & Thanks to The Mrs. I Have An Anthem To Prove It!

Have you heard of “The Mrs“? They are a group of 5 women from Austin, Texas who decided it was time to hear about  something other then “teenage heartbreak and gone-wild nights at the club”. So, they formed a band and something amazing happened.

Instead of a music video to promote their new single “I’m Enough” they did something so much more worthwhile. Check it out below:

I can’t even begin to explain how touched I was to see this. I not only shared it right away on Facebook and Twitter but I decided I needed to dedicate a whole blog post about it and the band that made it happen.

I'm EnoughWhen I came across this video on one of my content feeders I was in a crappy state of mind.

I felt tired and sad but worst of all I had been dealing with negative thoughts about my body and my self worth the whole day. I don’t know why, I guess it was just one of those days.

It’s hard to realize that we are good enough just the way we are, let alone accept it as truth and remember it when the negative thoughts start creeping back in.

We all struggle to reach this “perfection” status with our lives, our work and our bodies when what we really need to reach for is happiness and peace of mind.

With music and messages like the ones The Mrs are spreading around we thankfully get a little reminder of what is really important and we can smile and say, “I’m Enough”.

PS- The stickers you saw in the video are available to purchase! Check them out here. You can bet your ass I’m ordering a ton of these and putting them all over my house. They are $12 for a set of 4.
