Now Where Did I See That Article???

Have you felt the frustration of having come across a great article that you wanted to remember or reference back to but forgot where you saw it or where you saved it?

I can’t believe I lost that article!?

I know it’s happened to me more then I care to admit. I run across a ton of great articles every day that I want to remember and half the time I never see them again because I’d either forgotten where I saw them, what their title was or I can’t remember in what format I saved it in.

Sure, you can just “Google” it and HOPE that the article you saw shows up in the first 5 search pages or so but really, who has the time to search each and everyone one of those webpages. I know I don’t!

Why am I writing about this?

Well, it just so happens that I came across someone who was having the same issue and decided to do something about it and I thought it was worth sharing.

The man I am talking about is Mike Fleming and he created The Writers Knowledge Base.

The Writer’s Knowledge Base (WKB) is a searchable collection of articles that are highly relevant to writers. The articles are diverse and cover such topics as the craft of writing, getting published, promotion, etc.

There is also a feature where you can quickly create a personal account (For Free) and Writers Knowledge Base (WKB) will remember what you like and present the best articles on writing to you in a variety of ways.

There is also a section called Ebook Services Directory, created by Elizabeth S. Craig, where you can find cover designers, freelance editors, ebook formatters, and more. All for free.

I typed in “Romance” in the search bar on the home page and came up with 5029 articles that they have saved to their database! After reading the first 5 articles they had listed I quickly bookmarked their website on my phone so that I could get back to it while I’m waiting in line or have time to kill. When you enter in something in the search bar you can be as specific as you want to be, but for my first try I just typed in my genre and let me tell you something, I was not disappointed!

If you’ve got the time right now, click on one of the links I’ve just provided for you and check out what they have to offer the writing world. I promise you, you wont regret it!

Well, you have a little niche with the reference posts, so keep those somehow. I like the links and such. And I love blog make overs!!! I have to stop myself from changing mine constantly.

I fear blog make overs! Lol I’m always worried I’m going to loose something and not know how to get it back.

I didn’t lose anything when I changed my theme. I had to reinstall the side widgets but that was it. I’ll keep my fingers crossed for you.
